This was our very first funded project bringing together two groups of adults from Hebden Bridge and Halifax exploring the idea of ‘how can we give back to the Earth’ and ‘how can we show our gratitude to Earth’? We did this through spending time slowing down and connecting to nature in local woodlands, developing Haiku’s and poems in creative writing workshops and exploring mixed media through block printing!

These workshops were led by a team of professional community artists and nature guides in Spring 2023 and resulted in a highly successful art exhibition as part of the Hebden Bridge Arts/ Open Space 70 weekend and The Arts Trail in July 2023.
