Forest Bathing & Haiku!

This workshop will invite us to slow down and reconnect, deeply with nature. Forest bathing opens up all of our senses, we will step into the woods and bathe in the atmosphere with a carefully crafted sequence of invitations.

We will also immerse in the Japanese art of Haiku to step further into the moment and create tiny jewel-like poems to give back to the forest.

VENUE: Nutclough Woods - side entrance at Nutclough Housing Cooperative, Keighley road, Hebden Bridge.

ACCESS: Not accessible for wheelchair users.

CLIENT GROUP: Adults only.

Wrap up in case of rain, bring a water bottle, and wear good solid shoes/ boots.

Tea and cake/biscuits will be provided, with gluten-free options.

We will go ahead with light rain, if heavy we will reschedule/ refunds offered.

MEET THE TEAM

Clare Donegan is a forest therapy guide, creative practitioner, and artistic director of Inna Nature CIC. She lives in Hebden Bridge and spends time meandering through woodlands and creating work that assists people to reconnect with the natural world, and their creativity. Visit ClareDonegan.com.

Anna Chilvers is the author of three novels, as well as short stories and poetry. She is a creative writing tutor at the University of Hull, and a writing mentor. She is in the final stages of a PhD on novel writing combined with woodland walking.
